Futurama will officially return this summer. It’s been a long ride, but Futurama Season 11 premieres July 24 on Hulu with new episodes released weekly. Most, if not all, of the original cast are reprising their roles for the new season, including Billy West as Philip J. Fry, John DiMaggio like Bender, Katey Sagal like Leela, as well as Tress MacNeille, Maurice La Marche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarrAND David Herman. This is sure to be a really fun season.
After a brief ten-year hiatus, Futurama has crawled triumphantly out of the cryo tube, its original cast complete and satirical wit intact. Season 11’s ten all-new episodes have something for everyone. New viewers will be able to pick up the series from here, while longtime fans will recognize the results of decades-long mysteries, including the unfolding of Fry and Leela’s epic romance, the mysterious contents of Nibbler’s litter box, the secret history of the evil Robot Santa and where are Kif and Amy’s tadpoles. Meanwhile, there’s a new pandemic in town as the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture and streaming TV.
