I have here a 3D animated video comparing the speed of real and fictional civilian and military aircraft. The video was created by Red Side and the video also features the name of the plane, its manufacturer and the speed at which it is going.
As a fan of military jets and planes, I thought this was pretty cool! The slowest craft featured in the video is the 1906 Santos-Dumont aircraft, which was moving at 40 km (~25 mph). The fastest is the SR-72 Darkstar from the movie Top Gun: Maverick, which flew at an insane Mach 10. The video came with the note:
