When Marvel Studios announced Avengers: Kang Dynastyit was revealed shortly after Jeff Loveless would write the screenplay. Loveless wrote recently Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania, and the writing on this has been disappointing. I mean, it was a fun movie, but that script and some of that dialogue in the movie was rough and cringe-worthy at times.
Well, according to entertainment scooper Jeff Sneider, Loveness has been removed from writing duties The Kang Dynasty, which honestly… I think is better this way. For a big movie like that, Marvel needs a solid script and after seeing it QuantimaniaNot sure if it would have cut it.
Also, this has nothing to do with the writer’s strike, this decision happened earlier.
RUMOR: I understand that screenwriter Jeff Loveness is out of AVENGERS: KANG DYNASTY… and that he fell before the strike.

There are really no details to share regarding the story of The Kang Dynastybut fans have wondered what Marvel will do with it Jonathan Major, which found itself in hot water recently. I mean, all of these next two phases were going to be built around Majors’ Kang!
Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) is directing the project with the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige producing.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania star David Dastmalchian he would disagree with me about Loveless’ talents as he recently came out praising him and said:
“It’s such a smart choice, bringing in Jeff [Loveness] aboard to help create this world and these stories. Because, A.) He has written and understands more comics than almost any comic writer out there. I mean, he’s actually been in the trenches for a long time. B.) he IS so smart. He sees all the pieces moving at once and his brain is this fascinating place.”
“He has what I would describe as a wonderful mind. He’s a very sweet, loving, very funny guy, but his brain is like… if he wasn’t writing movies, maybe he’d be inventing, making something with atomic energy. I know. And it all comes together in this deep love and passion for the characters when he talks about them. His passion, just like Peyton, which is why I think they hit it off so well, is infectious. It’s like talking to a 12-year-old.”
Avengers: Kang Dynasty is currently scheduled to be released on May 2, 2025!
