While we continue to wait Hideo Kojima‘S Death Stranding 2, Elle Fanning talks about the highly anticipated game and says his friends think the project is “the best thing I’ve ever done.” Play the game together Norman Redus, Léa Seydoux, Shioli KutsunaAND Slutty Baker.
During an interview with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Fanning offered a little insight into what it’s like to work with Kojima on the project, saying, “I think when I signed up I wasn’t sure what it would entail, I didn’t know it would be was real acting and scenes.
Speaking about the difference between filming on set and filming using motion capture technology, Fanning explained, “There are emotional scenes in it, and Hideo [Kojima] there and he’s like ‘okay…now cry’, and you’re like ‘oh my god! Okay…’ as well as if I should get into the mood but overall [mocap] suit.”
When she talked about seeing herself in video game form, she said, “I’ve seen, but you know, what the game is like, you look like you – it’s me, but [it] it looks good.”
Fanning isn’t a gamer, but the actress will “definitely be playing” Death Stranding 2 when it releases. done in always in their eyes.”
Nothing has been revealed about the game’s story, but it sure is awesome! Kojima previously shared that he wrote the story for the sequel before the pandemic, but ended up rewriting it “from scratch” due to the pandemic. Kojima jokingly said that he “didn’t want to tell the future,” which is why he rewrote it.
