Maika Monroe and Troy Kotsur will star in new crime thriller COLD NIGHT

Maika Monroe (It follows) AND Troy Kosur (TAIL) will star in a thriller film titled Cold lightand it will be the first film Kotsur will star in since he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in TAILbecoming the first deaf male actor to win an Academy Award.

In the movie: “Ava (Monroe) is trapped. Like a bull in a bucking chute, seconds before exploding on the rodeo stage. She is hunted. Pursued by those who killed her brother, pursued by her own demons. Ava has to make a choice. To save herself and fight another day or to push and become the woman she wants to be.

I suspect she will dig deep and become the woman she wants to be! Monroe and Kotsur are both great actors, and it looks like it’s going to be a great project on their part. Monroe recently starred alongside Nicolas Cage in the movie Long legs, which was picked up by Neon. Kotsur will later appear in Curb your enthusiasm Season 12.

The film is staged at XYZ Films and will be directed by the French-Canadian director Maximus Giroux (Felix and Meira). This will be his first English-language film. The screenplay of the film was written by Patrick Whistler.

Giroux said in a statement, “I am so excited to be starting this film. The cast and film production team, most of whom I’ve worked with for years, are incredible. After years of refinement and fine-tuning, we have to turn this wild ride around.

Manufacturers Yanick Letourneau AND Mike MacMillan he said in a statement, “This movie is going to be jaw-dropping and kinetic. The gritty thriller at the heart of the film promises to rise in the hands of Maxime and this excellent cast. We are creating something unique and with a genuine signature.
