Legendary comic creator Franco Miller he was one of the lead artists working on Marvel Comics’ first Wolverine solo comic with writer Chris Claremont in 1982. Much of the work he did on those comics is iconic. Those comics defined the Wolverine character very well.
40 years later, Miller has done a new cover piece for Wolverine Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapons of Revenge Alpha. Miller’s art style has changed significantly over the years, and his new Wolverine cover is pretty wild. The style is much more stylized and abstract.
Miller’s new art style has been polarizing for some fans, but some like what he’s doing with his art. Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapons of Revenge Alpha is a one-shot that kicks off a crossover between writers Benjamin PercyWolverine’s title and its competitor Phantom Knight series. The comic was also written by Percy, and the interior art comes from Geoff Shaw.
The four-part epic will reveal the first meeting between Logan and Johnny Blaze, where they teamed up against a demonic serial killer. When that deadly enemy returns and begins targeting mutants in the harsh landscape of FALL OF X, prepare for claws, chains and violence as Wolverine and the Ghost Rider join forces once again to take him down!
