I have a trailer here for an upcoming action thriller movie titled Black lotusand it actually feels like a solid, fun action movie because it’s another straight to VOD and digital film.
The film stars Dutch kickboxer Rico Verhoeven as a former special forces agent who lost his good friend in a dangerous mission. When his friend’s daughter is kidnapped by the local crime boss, played by Frank Grillohe embarks on a mad mission to get it back and annihilate anyone who gets in his way.
The synopsis says he “wages a one-man war on the streets of Amsterdam to rescue his friend’s daughter kidnapped by the local crime syndicate. Between explosions, flying bullets and crashing cars, Donner has only one goal: to rescue the kidnapped daughter of his dead friend.
The rest of the cast includes Marie Domnier, Pietro FranzénAND Pippi Casey. The film was already released in Belgium and the Netherlands last month. The Movie Partnership will release Black Lotus direct-to-VOD/digital beginning June 19, 2023.
