THE Justified the series is revived on FX with a new titled series Justified: Primordial city and today the first teaser trailer was released! Presents the return of Timotheus Oliphant as grizzled US Marshal Raylan Givens, in the big city.

The footage doesn’t offer much of the story the series will tell, but it’s exciting to see Olyphant in this role again! I’m a huge fan of the original series, so of course I’m excited about this new series!

The next chapter of the story picks up with Givens “eight years after leaving Kentucky behind. He now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a US marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl (Vivan Olyphant). “A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway leads him to Detroit. There he meets Clement Mansell (Boyd Holbrook), aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who has already slipped through the fingers of Detroit’s best once and aims to do it again. Mansell’s attorney, formidable Motor City native Carolyn Wilder (Aunjanue Ellis), has every intention of representing her client, even as she finds herself caught between cop and criminal, with her own game on as well.

The rest of the cast includes Adelaide Clemens (The Great Gatsby, Correction), Vondie Curtis Room (Harriet, The house of the night), Marine Ireland (Y: The last man, The Umbrella Academy), Norberto Leo Butz (Bloodline, Fosse/Verdon), Victor Williams (The bird of the good god, The king of queens), AND Viviana Olifante.

Dave Andron AND Michele dinner will serve as writers, showrunners and executive producers on the new series, with Dinner also directing. Olyphant will also executive produce together Justified Creator Graham Yost.
