In about 2001, a DVD called Animusic: A computer animation video album it was released and it was incredible. It was basically a bunch of songs performed by robots and machines in various ways. The music was stellar and the animations were so much fun to watch. One of the best known tracks is “Pipe Dream” which you can see here.
Pretty cool, right? Well, more recently, kuribo98 on YouTube shared a new version of “Pipe Dream” where they reworked it to play “Underground Theme” from instead Super Mario Bros. It’s so beautiful! Based on the comments section, it appears they were able to use MIDI to map and control the animation. What’s even more impressive to me is the fact that kuribo98 used an animation template created by TheZacher5645 which was created inside Roblox! This is really strong!
