In video games, movies, television, etc. it is not uncommon for liberties to be taken with combat. These liberties are usually taken to create a flashier and more entertaining sequence. This also means that there are a lot of people who like to talk about how accurate these sequences actually are.
These videos can be quite fun to watch and one of the last ones I’ve seen is for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. David Rawling made a video with GameSpot to talk about various combat moments and lightsaber fighting styles in the game. Overall, he got quite a bit of praise for Jedi: Survived. Of course there are some moments that aren’t the smartest like watching Cal Kestis attack a shield-wielding soldier scout head-on, but there’s a lot to enjoy. It also helps that Rawling is great Star Wars fan. What’s your favorite lightsaber style? Jedi: Survived?
you can play Jedi: Survived now on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S (affiliate link) from their respective digital stores or your favorite retailers, including GameStop (affiliate link).
