I don’t know about you, but Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 he took me on a pretty thrilling roller coaster ride. When the film ended with the classic 2010 song “Dog Days” by Florence and the car, the rest of the audience and I just lost our emotional shit. Tears were flowing everywhere and I’m sure the theater staff had to bring in mops to wipe the tears off the theaters floor.
It was just the perfect drop of the needle, which is one of the things that James Gunn he is so damn good! Anyway, Florence Welch she recently shared a video of herself watching the movie, and it shows her breaking down in tears when her song starts playing and the Guardians start a huge dance party. She said:
“So I cried throughout the movie, but when Guardians of the Galaxy started dancing to ‘Dog Days’ I really lost my mind. Thank you so much for all the love for this moment. The superhero obsessed little girl in me can Don’t believe it happened.”
