First look at WB’s animated film BABYLON 5 with plot details, title and cast revealed

Babylon 5 it’s getting an animated film from the creator J. Michael Straczynski and Warner Bros. Animation. At the time of the announcement, there weren’t many details to share, but today we have a preview image to share with you along with the voice cast!

The film is titled Babylon 5: The road home and will continue the story started by Straczynski in the 90s. In the film, “Travel across the galaxy with John Sheridan as he finds himself unexpectedly transported through multiple timelines and alternate realities in search of his way back home. Along the way, he’s reunited with some familiar faces as he uncovers new cosmic revelations about the history, purpose, and meaning of the universe.

The voice cast includes returning Babylon 5 cast members Bruce Boxleitner as John Sheridan, Claudia Christian as Susan Ivanova, Peter Jurasik like Londo Mollari, Bill mom like Lennier, Tracy Scoggins such as Elizabeth Lochley e Patricia Talman like Lyta Alexander.

The voice cast also includes Paul Guyet as Zathras and Jeffery Sinclair, Anthony Hansen like Michele Garibaldi, Mara Giunot such as Reporter and Computer Voice, Phil LaMarr as Dr. Stephen Franklin, PIotr Michael as David Sheridan, Andrew Morgado such as G’Kar e Rebecca Riedy like Delenn.

Straczynski wrote the film and is an executive producer. It will be directed by Matthew Peters (Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons) directs, con Rick Morales as supervising producer. Sam Register is the executive producer of the project.

When Straczynski announced the film, he described it as “raucous, heartfelt, nonstop, a lot of fun across time and space, and a love letter to fans.”
