If you’ve never seen Raiders of the Lost Ark in theaters on the big screen, that will change next month! It has been announced that Lucasfilm will release the 1981 adventure film in theaters on June 4 and June 7! Then, you have two days to watch the movie on the big screen!
On June 6, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last CrusadeAND Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull they will all receive their first individual releases on 4K disc.
Films are getting an HDR upgrade thanks to 4K scans of the original negatives. Director Steven Spielberg he also approved of the extensive work done to enhance every frame and every film was reworked to Skywalker Sound to get a Dolby Atmos soundtrack.
This is all happening ahead of the release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate, and is being hosted by Fathom Events. AMC, Cinemark, and Regal theaters all participate in the event with showtimes at 4:00pm and 7:00pm each day.
The fantastic film follows “an intrepid archaeologist who tries to best a band of Nazis on a unique religious relic known as the Ark of the Covenant, which is central to their plans for world domination.
The film has been hailed as a classic in the cinematic world. The film is a master class in storytelling and simply captivated the audience. I’m a huge fan of this movie and couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to watch it on the big screen!
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be released in theaters on June 30! These are just some cool things to prepare us for what’s to come! The end of a legend.
