Actors Tom Hiddleston (by Marvel Loki) AND Mark HammillFrom Star Wars fame, they will star in a film adaptation of the author Stephen Kingthe short story, Chuck’s life. Doctor Sleep AND The Hill House obsession helmsman Mike Flanagan directs, writes and produces for Intrepid Pictures with fellow producer Trevor Macy. The project is set to be one of the big projects to be sold at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
“Based on the short story from King’s 2020 anthology If it bleeds, Chuck’s life are three separate stories linked to tell the biography of Charles Krantz in reverse, starting with his death from a brain tumor at age 39 and ending with his childhood in an apparently haunted house.
The script, which was adapted before the WGA strike, has been in the works for several months with Hiddleston playing the title character and Hamill joining for the role of Albie.
According to the production, the genre project will draw on the tone Stand by Me, The Shawshank Redemption AND The green mile.
