YELLOWSTONE will end with season 5, but Matthew McConaughey’s sequel series has been ordered

Paramount Network’s hit series Yellowstone is officially coming to a close with the upcoming fifth season finale episodes, which begin airing in November. But the story will continue with what was previously announced Matthew McConaughey sequel series, as it received the official green light. That series will debut in December on the Paramount Network and Paramount+.

The announcement comes shortly after it was reported that Kevin Costner he would not return to the series after season five. Costner was just more interested in focusing on his epic two-part western feature Horizonwhich had a big impact on his willingness to shoot Yellowstone.

Yellowstone it’s such a great series, and while it sucks to see it come to an end, that story will continue with the untitled follow-up series.
