May the force be with you.” The date in English sounds very similar to the phrase: May 4th be with you.
The origin of this celebration dates back to 1979, when Margaret Thatcher was elected Prime Minister of Great Britain. The Conservative Party ran a newspaper advert congratulating Thatcher with the following sentence:
May 4th be with you, Maggie. Congratulations”.
