Adam McCay (Don’t Look Up, The Big Short, Step Brothers, AND Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) is teaming up again with Netflix for its recently announced serial killer comedy film project titled Average height, average build. Robert Pattinson (The Batman) is set to star in the next film Amy Adams, Robert Downey Jr., Whitaker ForestAND Danielle Deadwyler.

Pattinson plays a serial killer in the film, “who enters politics in an effort to change the laws to be more, well, homicidal-friendly.” Adams as the state lobbyist who forms a unique connection with the killer.
McKay has already directed the film Don’t look up for the streaming service, and obviously has a good working relationship with them. The director looked for a studio to collaborate with to make this new film of his, and I guess Netflix was willing to give him the budget and creative freedom to make the film he wanted.
It sounds like a fascinating project and McKay will write, direct and produce the film.
