Pixel 3D artist Dott shared some videos a few months ago that have the Pokémon enthusiastic community. The videos show what a 2.5D version of the classic is Pokémon games might look like. The 2.5D style has become popular with games like Octopathic traveller AND Triangular strategy and honestly, it works pretty well with Pokémon Also. Overall I like this presentation even though the lighting is something that annoys me for some reason.

Sadly, I don’t think fans can expect to play a 2.5D version of Pokémon anytime soon. I think like more Pokémon games are remade, we will probably follow more in the wake of the Let’s go games or Brilliant diamond AND Shining pearl. That said, perhaps a remake of Conquer Pokémon could it be in 2.5D? What do you think of Dott’s work?
