The Xenomorph appears towards the end of the trailer, and as you’ll see, it’s a slightly different version of the alien creature! He looks like an incredibly sinister creature! He has fleshier colors and gnarled human-like teeth. There is also an interesting humanoid creature introduced.
In Aliens: Dark Descent, “The horrors and wonders of an authentic alien narrative unfold through a cinematic campaign filled with sinister secrets, iconic Xenomorphs and new threats. A range of tactical skills come into play to recruit, level up and command a squad of Colonial Marines in real-time and as a single unit with intuitive keyboard, mouse and controller controls. Any commands given via communications are quickly obeyed by the Marine best equipped for the situation based on their skills and equipment. Players will have to use their wits to navigate expansive, persistent and responsive levels. However, every Marine’s vital signs should be monitored with caution, as death is permanent.
Focus has also shared some pre-order incentives on its website. If you buy the $39.99 game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S or PC before June 20, get the “Lethe Recon Pack” which comes with black armor for the player’s team and a unique cat companion, which is a nod to Jones, the cat from Alien.
It looks like it could be a fun game for fans of the franchise to play. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!
