EXCLUSIVE: Mark Padilla has been named president of worldwide sales and acquisitions for Jackrabbit Media, the distribution and production company for Jack and Rebecca Campbell’s indie films.
An industry veteran with more than two decades of independent film experience, Padilla brings to Jackrabbit a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will play a key role in the company’s continued growth and success.
Among other things, Padilla has produced stellar indies The bouncer with Ruby Rose and Jean Reno, The virtuoso with Anthony Hopkins and Think like a dog with Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox. He has also held executive positions at companies such as Double Dutch International, Myriad Pictures, Essential Entertainment, Arclight Films and DK Media, worked as an international acquisitions consultant for various distribution companies around the world and served as a judge for several film festivals.
In addition to his work in the industry, Padilla currently teaches two courses at UCLA Extension that focus on the independent film industry. One is dedicated to the marketing and distribution of independent films across all platforms, while the other offers an in-depth look at Hollywood’s acquisition process.

Horror comedy from Jackrabbit Media baby blue, directed by Adam Mason, is released next month. Also come for the company influencera horror thriller written, directed and produced by Kurtis David Harder, which will be released on May 23rd as the Shudder Original.
Harder is currently developing the feature pill with Jackrabbit, with plans to begin filming in Canada later this year. The company’s other upcoming projects include the sci-fi actioner murderer 51 of CSI Anthony E. Zuiker of the franchise produced by Zuiker, Jack Campbell and Anthony Callie.
