1. Sam Buttrey will participate in ‘Jeopardy! master’s degree

Sam is ready to make a comeback to fame. Danger! stage of the master’s edition of the program in May 2023. His wife even helped him prepare to compete on the show, which she discussed during a November 2021 interview with Monterey County Weekly. “My background is statistics,” he explained at the time. “My wife helps me train in ballet, art and opera. I’m more of a science guy.”

4. He is an associate professor

5. Sam attended two prestigious universities.

To become a reigning champion of Danger! Unsurprisingly, Sam is a studious person. His first higher education experience was at the University of California, Berkeley, but the dates of this school are unknown. Sam then attended Phillips Exeter Academy from 1976 to 1979. Finally, Sam earned a degree in statistics from Princeton University, where he studied from 1979 to 1983. There he also participated in sports and other activities, including rugby and the terrace club.
