GlenPowell (Top Gun: nonconformist) joins Daisy Edgar-Jones (Where the crayfish sing) at Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Twisterswhich is a sequel to the thrilling classic Tornado from 1996. Lee Isaac Chung (Minaries) directs the film from a screenplay written by Mark L. Smith (The avenger).

Producer Steven Spielberg he is said to have loved the film’s script, and his enthusiasm for it helped speed up the film’s development. According to sources, the hope is of Elena Caccia back and tells a story that focuses on the daughter with whom his character Bill Paxton’character. She got the storm chasing bug that her parents had and I assume the character will be played by Edgar-Jones.
There is no other information about the story, but I sure loved that first movie when it came out! The original film was directed by Speed director Jan Debont and executive product from Steven Spielbergwith a script by the author Michael Criton.
I just wish this sequel has the same tone, style and spirit as the original film!
