Bad Bunny has left his fans in shock after a recent joke he made about his role in the upcoming Marvel Universe film, ‘El Muerto’, a spin-off of ‘Spiderman’. In a magazine interview TIMEthe artist joked about possibility that Sony will replace him with Pedro Pascal in the lead role of this long-awaited production, of which little is known.

Recall that Bad Bunny was announced as part of the cast of the film in April of last year and since then there has been much anticipation to see it on the big screen. However, the singer’s comments have led some to question whether there is a problem with the production of the tape and why. Pedro Pascal could be his replacement.

Although the “bad rabbit” clarified that his comment was joking, his fans have not ceased to worry about the possibility that he will be replaced in the role of “El Muerto”. Some have even suggested that the singer may be trying to hide a problem behind the scenes, and until Sony wants to make the project, and among their plans is to remove Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.

Fans are hoping it’s just a Bad Bunny joke

Bad Bunny’s participation in ‘El Muerto’ has been one of the biggest attractions of the film since it was announced. Fans of the artist can’t wait to see him in a new role on the big screen and are willing to support him in any project he is involved in.

The singer clarified that he did it as a joke. Maybe he brought up Pedro Pascal’s name because he’s currently one of the hottest Latino talents in film and entertainment, and in full view for his starring role in ‘The Last of Us’ on HBO Max, and ‘ Disney Plus’ The Mandalorian’ and a host of other projects.

Let’s hope the singer’s comments are just a joke and we get to see him in the film as announced. Marvel has had great success in its superhero films and the inclusion of Bad Bunny in the cast is undoubtedly a great opportunity for the artist and for Latin American cinema.
