Planet Weird has released a trailer for a chilling new supernatural horror documentary film titled The Unbinding. The film tells the true story of a haunted artifact, a witch totem, that has been found in the forests of New York.

The movie comes from Greg AND Dana Newkirk (Hellier ), the duo behind a channel of paranormal researchers called “Planet Weird” and have “traversed North America on hundreds of paranormal adventures.” Their journey has led them to this strange and eerie statue.
The Unbinding tells “a terrifying true story from the dark forests of New York. After discovering a strange statue in the Catskill Mountains, two hikers become the target of chilling paranormal phenomena. As the spooky activity escalates, occult museum curators Greg and Dana Newkirk are called in to uncover the startling truth behind the haunted artifact.
I’ve had my fair share of weird adventures with my siblings. We always go exploring caves, mines and abandoned buildings! Sure we’ve come across some weird stuff, but we’ve never been stupid enough to take anything home on purpose. We are stupid enough to go into some of these places and have seen strange things happen.
I like this kind of weird stuff and I’m very curious about this document. The Unbinding is directed by Carl Pfeifferwho is making his directorial debut after working on Hellier. No release date has been set yet, but you can check out the trailer below!
