Ezra Miller plays Barry Allen, aka The Flash, in the film, along with Ben Affleck as Batman, Michael Shannon like Zod, Ron Livingstone AND Maribel Verdu who play Barry’s parents. Saoirse-Monica Jackson (Derry girls) and Internet personality Rudy Mancuso they were also cast in undisclosed roles. Here is the first synopsis that was shared:
Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. James Gunn he had previously called the film “arguably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.” It has also been confirmed that this film will unlock the first phase of DC Studios films, known as Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters. Tom Cruise I also liked the movie!
Keaton is the only reason I have any interest in this film, and after we see him in action again as The Dark Knight, that will be it. Chances are we’ll never see him in the role again, which sucks because all of this was leading up to a Batman Beyond movie, that doesn’t happen anymore.
The flash is directed by Andy Muschietti and will be released on June 23, 2023.
