It has been officially confirmed that Judah Law will be joined in the series by newcomers Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana KratterAND Robert Timothy Smith. They will take on the main roles in the upcoming space adventure series. Here is the image of the characters:

Lucasfilm has also confirmed the directors of the series, which include the creator of the series Jon Wattswith David Lowery, Jake Schreier (Lightning), AND The Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) together with Bryce Dallas Howard AND Lee Isaac Chungwho both worked on the current season of The Mandalorian.

The series has been described as “a galactic take on Amblin’s classic 80s adventure films.” The story will follow four little boys from a tiny planet and end up lost in the Star Wars galaxy and embark on a journey to find your way home.

The film was presented to Lucasfilm as “Goonies In Star Wars,” and it was explained that while the series stars four children, “it is not a show for children.” The adventure they are on is said to be an intense and dark journey.

The story takes place “during the post–Return of the Jedi reconstruction following the fall of the Empire, the same as The Mandalorian.” Law’s character has been reported to be “a teacher and the show is like a field trip in and out of the known Star Wars Universe.” The project is also set in the same universe as The Mandalorian AND Ahsoka. You can read more details about the series here.

The first footage of the series was also shared during the event, which included character shots on speeders, at school, in spaceships, and a tease of a familiar villain from The Mandalorian. The clip ended with a first look at Law as a Jedi.

Gizmodo shared a description of the footage that “opens with kids living in an unfamiliar woodland world. They go to school, live their lives on speeder bikes, but long for adventure and find it when they go exploring in the woods one night. Their parents come home to a vision of Star Wars suburbs unlike anything we’ve seen before in the franchise… and they discover their children are missing.

“Those guys, our main group, two young girls (one was wearing a Star Trek: TNG -tyle head visor), a young boy and a small alien who looks a lot like a young greengrocer, one of the plump blue allies popularized by Max Rebo in Return of the Jedi– appear to have found their way aboard a mercenary starship. There are shots of them encountering strange creatures, holograms of their parents at home begging them to return, and the children being threatened by pirates (including, it seems, the pirate Nikto formerly of the Gorian Shard crew in The Mandalorianfurther tying the timeline of the series to the post-Return of the Jedi era). The kids find themselves fleeing blaster fire in what looks like a pirate base and fly off in their new ship before the trailer concludes with them locked up in a prison cell carved out of a cave. A hooded figure approaches, floating the key to their freedom before the children with an extravagant show of force. He’s a Jedi!’ One of the children exclaims as the figure lowers its hood to reveal that he is Jude Law’s mystery character.

Skeleton crew it recently finished production and is currently in the post-production process. Watts and Ford will serve as executive producers Skeleton crew with Jon Favreau AND Dave Filoni.
