Disney has released the first trailer for Lucasfilm’s upcoming live-action series Star Wars: Ahsoka, and this show seems to be incredibly amazing! This trailer is absolutely stunning and I am overcome with excitement right now! The trailer premiered today at the Star Wars Celebration, which I’d like to be at, and you can bet fans of the event went nuts for this trailer!

Mark Hamill and his Return of the Jedi helix lightsaber reunite in Pop Culture Quest Clip
The series is set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka “follows former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) while investigating an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
Ahsoka and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) are in search of Grand Admiral Thrawn in the hope that he will lead them to find the lost Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi who disappeared with Thrawn many years ago. The series directly follows on from several threads from the animated series Star Wars Rebels.
The video also confirms it Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays Hera Syndulla and the droid, Chopper, is also back. We also get our first look at Grand Admiral Thrawn and the trailer teases the whole “Heir to the Empire” thing, which was a neat nod to Timothy Zahn’s iconic Extended Universe novels.
The series is also starring Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Ivanna Sakhno, Eman Esfandi like EzraAND Ray Stevenson. The limited series is written by Dave Filoni which produces executive along with Jon Favreau AND Kathleen Kennedy.
The series will debut exclusively on Disney+ in August 2023.
