By the way John Wick: Chapter 4 is over many fans have wondered… will there or won’t there be a John Wick: Chapter 5!? Given that the movie was such a huge hit and the fact that Lionsgate isn’t ready to say goodbye to the character, I think it’s a safe bet that we’ll see another sequel with Keanu Reeves as John Wick.

Franchise manufacturer Erica Lee he also recently said that everyone on the team will want to get back together to do it again. Now, director Chad Stahelski he’s saying he and his team are open! While a guest on The Hollywood Reporter’s Behind the Screen podcast series, Stahelski said it’s “flattering” that everyone wants more voices in the film, and joked that he and Keanu might be itching to make another film:
“It’s very flattering for them to come back and say, ‘We want more,’ and it’s not just a cash grab. It is legitimately the public wants more. I think we all need that little bit of time to say “Damn.” Let’s see what’s next.’ … If Keanu and I, in a few months’ time, sit down again in a whiskey bar in Japan and say, ‘Yeah, we’ll never do one of those again,’ and then suddenly we’re like, ‘Yeah, but I had a ‘idea.’ We are open to it.
They always talk about having an idea for a sequel, which is funny to me because Stahelski previously said he could make these John Wick movies for the rest of his career and that he and Reeves have tons of ideas!
“I like making these films because there are no limits. We create our own mythology and have a studio that doesn’t hinder us and supports us in extravagant decisions. If people go to see the movie, and it makes money, and they come back to us, Keanu and I have ideas for days. I could live here for the rest of my career. If people like it and want to watch more of it, I could think of worse ways to spend your career. But, you know, we’re in show business. We will let the audience understand that.
When previously discussing how long he would play John Wick, Reeves said, “As far as my legs can take me. As far as the audience wants to go.” So when talking about the future of the franchise and whether we would see a fifth installment, Reeves said first chapter 4 He came out:
“You have to see how audiences respond to what we did. The only reason we got the chance to make these movies is people liked what we did. So I think we have to wait and see how audiences respond to it.Hopefully he likes it.
Well, fans have responded and they want more! Everyone wants more! Stahelski and Reeves just need some time before starting again.
