When it was first announced that NBCUniversal’s Peacock would be producing the highly anticipated Community movie, it has been confirmed that everyone in the original cast will return except Donald Glove. His involvement in the project was in the air.

Dan Harmon it is developing Community: the movie and it was initially announced that Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash AND Ken Jeong he would come back. Harmon later said that he believed Glover would also return saying:
“I think Donald will come, based on word of mouth, but it’s just that the deal isn’t official or it wasn’t. It would be hard to really commit to doing this thing without Donald. So I think he will come back. I think if there are names that are missing from a list, it’s because the names that are on the list, their agreements are in agreement enough that it’s okay to say they’re on the list, and anyone who isn’t on a list, just isn’t the case Still. So there’s nothing official about anyone being out.
Well, it seems like Harmon was sending all the good vibes because, during a recent interview with GQ, Glover seemed to confirm his involvement in the film:
“We should shoot it soon. I haven’t seen the script, I don’t know … and in real Dan [Harmon] fashion, we probably will get it on the first day. But yeah, it should happen.”
The giveaway here is when he said, “We should shoot,” which means he’s including himself in the process. So that’s wonderful news! A community film wouldn’t be the same without Glover. It was a sad day when he left the show, but it will be great to see him reunite with the rest of the cast for the film! hopefully, Yvette Nicole Brown is also able to participate in the fun! She is the only hour we are unaware of.
Armon e Andrew Guest will write and executive produce the film, and it is currently unknown who will direct. But Harmon previously shared, “There’s a director who directed some of my favorite episodes of Community which would be nice to see being able to make the film. And that’s not even mentioning the Russo Brothers, which I would also like to see come back. But I’m just assuming they’re too busy.
