It had already been announced Robert Downey Jr. AND Robert Pattinson are set to star in the film, and now we’ve learned they’ll be joined by Amy Adams, Whitaker ForestAND Until‘S Danielle Deadwyler.
Pattinson will play a serial killer in the story, “who enlists a lobbyist (Adams) to change the laws that will make it easier for him to get away with murder. The role of Downey is a retired policeman who does not give up on killings and the killer tries to stop him from following his trail now that he has hung up his gun. Serial killer turns into a cause celeb, a Mr. Smith goes to Washington figure who protects his true motives.
The film has been described as an “allegorical dramedy” and looks like it will tell an interesting story. McKay seems to enjoy making these political satires, this looks like it’s going to be fun. You can bet the director will continue to fill the cast with big A-list stars.
