In the interview preview trailer, which you can watch below, Renner is being interviewed, as is his nephew, who was bailing out in the crash, as well as his sister. The 911 call is heard the day of the crash, and Diane Sawyer goes through the entire list of injuries Renner suffered, and it’s pretty amazing that she pulled through! “Eight ribs broken in 14 places,” Sawyer begins. “Right knees, broken right ankle. Broken left leg tibia. Broken left ankle. Broken right collarbone. Broken right shoulder. Face eye, jaw, jaw. Lung collapsed, pierced from rib to liver, which sounds terrifying.”

Despite the extent of her healing process, Variety reports that Renner will be attending the April 11 red carpet premiere of his upcoming series, Renovations, which is headed to Disney+. The series centers on Renner and his team of experts who transform derelict vehicles into everything from water treatment facilities to a mobile music studio to a community center complete with basketball hoop. Working with his partner and friend Rory Millikin, Lead Fabricator Rob “Bender” Park, Lead Mechanic Corey Wardleigh and crew members Merri Oswald, Justin Self, Roxy Bonilla, Merri Oswald, Akamu “AK” Whatley, Skiland “Ski Judd, Ryan Gunter and Nick Socha, Renner’s docuseries is the culmination of a passion for building communities and retrofitting vehicles that he’s been exploring for years.
