Focus Features has released the first trailer for Wes Andersonthe new film project City of Asteroids, and it looks like this movie is going to be incredibly fun! I’m a fan of the movies Anderson made, but this seems to be just one of his best.

The story is set in a fictional American desert town in 1955. In the story, “the itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from all over the country for fellowship and academic competition) is disrupted in spectacular way from world-changing events.”
That world-changing event is the arrival of an alien. I definitely like Anderson’s cinematic and storytelling style and he always puts together a great cast! This includes Jason Schwartzmann, Scarlett Johansson, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda SwintonAND Tom Hankswith Sophia Lillis, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrian Brody, Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Friend Rupert, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie, Toni Revolori, Jake Ryan, Fisher Stevens, Rita Wilson, Jarvis CockerAND Jeff Goldblum. I’m surprised Bill Murray it has nothing to do with it!
City of Asteroids will be released in theaters on June 17, 2023. Enjoy the trailer!
