DEADPOOL 3 stars SUCCESSION Actor Matthew Macfadyen

Marvel Studios and director Shawn Levi they launched Succession actor Matthew Macfadyen In Deadpool 3! He’s a fun actor and will make an interesting addition to the cast. No word on who he’ll play, but that information will come in time. There’s no doubt that he’s going to be playing some kind of fun character in the film.

Macfadyen joins Ryan Reynolds, Hugh JackmanAND Emma Corrin, who will play a villain in the story. There aren’t any concrete story details to share about the film yet, but we do know Wolverine and Deadpool aren’t going to get along. Jackman has previously explained that Wolverine hates Deadpool, saying:

“How do I classify it? Ten is very close, zero is reality, we are zero, we are opposites, we hate each other. I’m just talking from my point of view, [Logan’s] frustrated with him, wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, she can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to be punching him in the head a lot.

Reynolds also spoke about developing the story for the film with high expectations from fans, saying the film’s tone will be a “tightrope walk,” but he believes the crazy blend of these two personalities will make for a great film.

“I think it’s a tightrope walk. I mean, most of these movies are always a tightrope tone walk, so in this case though, you’ve got a collision of two pretty iconic characters that exist in the Marvel Ancillary Universe [laughs] – we’re in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at this point.

“It’s really kind of finding a way to serve both of these characters that feels extraordinarily authentic to each of them, and I think these two wrongs will actually do a right thing in a really great way.”

The director previously teased the film’s violence and vulgarity, saying, “We’re writing, rewriting, developing, preparing Dead Pool every day now. It’s so much fun to laugh every day. It’s so delightful to listen to, write and invent these scenes where people speak badly. And the violence is in your face and hardcore, and it really is a Dead Pool movie.”

The previously revealed Deadpool and Wolverine storyline involved a Rashomon-style story with a journey between Deadpool and Logan. A Rashomon-style story is where the same event is told by different characters and the stories differ in ways that are impossible to reconcile. Shows that two or more people can view the same event differently.

Deadpool 3 is scheduled for November 8, 2024.
