Marvel Studios has a tendency to go after big legendary stars to appear in their movies. Over the years some of those actors have included Michael Douglas, Kurt Russell, Robert Redford, Samuel L. Lorenzo Fishburne also had a role in Ant man as Bill Foster, Hank Pym’s former colleague at the Shield and Ava Starr’s caretaker. During a recent interview with CB, he talks about how much he loves the MCU and how he’d like to be a part of it, saying:

“You know, I’m a big MCU guy. I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe and as much as I’d love to be a part of it, I’m happy to be a fan and look forward to whatever happens. getting ready to do another Captain America!… Bring him to me. I’m buying tickets mate!”

When he says, “I’d like to be a part of it,” I assume he means that he’d like to continue being a part of it. Not only has it appeared in Ant manbut is also actively part of the animated series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Additionally, he will reprise his role as Bill Foster again in the upcoming second season of What if…?.

Fishburne confirmed in an interview with Brandon Pope who will voice Bill Foster in an upcoming episode of What if…?and these are the comments he made:

“Ah, you know, Bill Foster appears in What If…? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Bill Foster appears in What If…? as Giant-Man actually. Yeah, that’s cool.”

It’s great and it will be fun to see this character again in a new MCU story. Fishburne’s latest film is John Wick: Chapter 4, and returned to his role as The Bowery King. He’s great in the film, and speaking of playing the character again, he said:

“It was pretty easy, man. It was on the page. That whole initial thing with the ‘I was here before time began!’ The way he sets the table, and allows me to use my voice in a really beautiful way in the tunnel with all the reverb. [Stahelski] I shot it, it was really mysterious and cool.”

He added, “I love this movie because it’s so much fun. Just playing The Bowery King, I have so much fun doing it.”
