SEGA wants to make it easier for you to play many of them Sonic the hedgehog you play how you want. The team recently announced Sonic Origins Plus. This is “a new definitive Sonic the hedgehog multi-game collection.” Many of you may know him sound origins and essentially, this is that bundle of games and more. In addition to the games included in the original bundle (Sonic the hedgehog, Sonic the hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & KnucklesAND Sonic Disc), Sonic Origins Plus carries all 12 Game Gears Sonic titles, Amy as a playable character in all original pack titles, and Knuckles as a playable character in Sonic Disc. It looks fantastic.

If you have already purchased sound origins, Don’t worry. You don’t have to waste $40 on Sonic Origins Plus. You can purchase an expansion pack for just $9.99 that will upgrade your copy of sound origins TO Sonic Origins Plus. Physical and digital versions of Sonic Origins Plus will be available for purchase starting June 23, Sonic’s birthday. The physical version of the game is available to pre-order now from your favorite retailers, including GameStop (affiliate link). You will be able to play Sonic Origins Plus on Nintendo Switch consoles, PC, PS4/5 and Xbox.
