Robert Downey Jr. (Iron man) AND Robert Pattinson (The Batman) are expected to star in an upcoming serial killer film from the director Adam McCay (Don’t Look Up, The Big Short, Step Brothers, AND Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy).

The report comes from Puck News, which reveals the film’s title Average height, average build, and is described as an “allegorical dramedy”.
The story revolves around “a serial killer who enters politics in an attempt to change the laws to be more, well, conducive to murder.” Pattinson will take on the lead role of the assassin, and McKay’s plan is to assemble another large “star cast” consisting of “Robert Downey Jr. and others in the mix.”
Sounds like it’s going to be an interesting film project! There’s no word on who Downy Jr. will play in the film, but I hope it’s a big role for him. He hasn’t had a major film role since he played Iron Man. It was also recently announced that he is involved in an Alfred Hitchcock remake Vertigo.
McKay seems to enjoy making these socio-political satire films, and I’m curious to see what he has planned for this story. Involving Downey Jr. and Pattinson is definitely something that will pique people’s interest! What do you think?
