Everyone knew it Andor it was a Star Wars series with an expiration date, as the story was only a beginning of the film Star Wars: Rogue One. Being such a great series, some say the best of Star Wars stories, at least for a long time, it is a pity to know that it is coming to an end. But a very interesting aspect of the second season is knowing that the audience has had a hand in making it.

In a recent interview with Variety, star of the series Diego Luna explained:

“Season 2 ends where ‘Rogue One’ begins. We’re not changing the ending of “Rogue One”, so that’s it. It’s a good feeling, it’s like a long movie… It has a beginning and an end. We all know what’s going to happen. There’s something cool about season 2, which is that I get a different feeling every day I go on set. Now I know, not only that the series was well received and that people liked it, but I also know why they liked it. This is another tool we have these days through social media. We actually listen to the public and the critics. We understand what things are connected and what are not. It’s pretty cool to have the opportunity to go and run another season with that information. It’s, in a way, a season that’s going to end up portraying audiences differently. Somehow, the audience is a part of this season because the interaction we’ve had has served as inspiration.”

Season 2 will be the end of the road for Cassian Andor and the creator Tony Gilroy he has stated that this is his last Star Wars project. When asked if there could be a different role in the Star Wars universe in the future for Luna, perhaps as a director, Luna said:

“You’ll have to ask someone who can actually give me that job, otherwise we’re just talking fantasy. That’s another galaxy, I don’t know how far away it is. I like directing. I can tell you one thing, the next thing I’m going to do after this is directing. When ‘Rogue One’ ended, my daughter was like, ‘Is that it? You are dead!’ I was like, yeah that’s it… I make movies, it always has a beginning and an end. And then I went on to do two seasons of a TV show, a prequel, so who knows! I don’t like to think too far ahead.”

I can’t wait to see how this masterful series concludes. Andor The second season will be released later this year.
