THE ROOM’s Tommy Wiseau releases a new trailer for his upcoming film BIG SHARK

Tommy Wiseaudirector and star of the 2003 cult film, The roomis back with a new movie titled Great Sharkand the first trailer has been released!

Great Shark it’s the first film Wiseau has made since The Room and it looks as ridiculous and mean as you’d expect. The film follows three firefighters named George, Patrick and Tim, who must save New Orleans from a giant killer shark.

Wiseau wrote, directed and stars in the film together Isaiah La Borde AND Marcus Valerian. The director will take the film in a theatrical roadshow and those “Pre Premier” screenings will continue over the course of eight months with the release of the “Official Final Cut Version” of Great Shark to follow.

Great Shark will kick off its tour April 2 with an premiere screening at Cinema 21 in Portland, Oregon. The following screenings will launch in the coming months, with an interim schedule of engagements hosted by Prytania Theaters at Canal Place in New Orleans (April 28 & 29), Balboa Theater in San Francisco, California (May 5 & 6), Landmark Westwood in Los Angeles (June 2 and 3) and Angelika’s Village East in New York City (August 10, 11 and 12).

Wiseau will appear in person for this first set of screenings. Over the years since the release of The room, the director has collaborated on several projects. He directed a short documentary titled Homeless in Americareleased in 2004. Appeared in one episode of Tim and Eric Great showand in 2015, he created, wrote, and directed a six-episode series on Hulu titled Neighbors. She has also played dual roles as the main protagonist and antagonist of the series.

Then, in 2017, she starred alongside her The room co-starred with Sestero in a two-part thriller titled Best F(r)iends, written by Sestero.
