Well, those charges against him were recently dropped, and for the first time since all of this happened, Roiland has broken his silence. He said in a recent social media post:

“I always knew these claims were false and never had any doubts that this day would come. I am grateful that this case was dismissed but, at the same time, I am still deeply shaken by the horrible lies that have been told about me. during this process.

“Above all, I am disappointed that so many people have been so quick to judge without knowing the facts, based solely on the word of an embittered ex trying to get around due process and have me ‘stripped off.’ That it succeeded, even partially , it is shameful. However, now that the lawsuit has concluded, I am determined to move forward and focus on my creative projects and restoring my good name.”

While those allegations have been dropped, full details of Roiland’s inappropriate workplace behavior have surfaced online from several people who have worked with him over the years. It all seems so bizarre and chaotic. There are several stories about all this that you can read in detail here. I assume these are the “horrible lies” he talks about in his statement.

After going through the wringer like this and hearing what it was like for people to work with him, I guess it won’t be easy for him to move forward. The big question is, are people willing to work with him again after all of this?
