Director David Lowery has set up his next film project with A24. It is entitled Mother Mary AND Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight is resurrected) AND Michaela Coel (I can destroy you) are set as an asterisk.

Lowery recently directed Peter Pan and Wendy for Disney, but has also directed films such as Green Knight, Pete’s dragonAND A ghost story. He’s a great director and storyteller and I have no doubt that his next project will be interesting.
Lowery will direct the film from a script he wrote and the story will be an “epic pop melodrama that follows a fictional musician (Hathaway) and her relationship with an iconic fashion designer (Coel).”
Jack Antonoff and Charli XCX will write and produce original songs for the film, with an original score composed by Daniel Hart.
It is the third collaboration between A24 and David Lowery and will be filmed in Germany.
