The 2024 Christmas release will be Peele’s fourth directorial title, following his Oscar-winning hit Out ($225.7 million worldwide box office on a $4.5 million budget) and the 2019 horror title We ($256 million WW of $20 million production cost).

Universal previously reserved the release date of September 27, 2024 for an event animated film. Peele’s year-end film will premiere five days later Avatar 3 And Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
