‘The Bachelor’: Zach goes to bed [SPOILER] After wishing “No sex” in Fantasy Suites

The March 20th episode The bachelor presented Zach Shallcross and his three remaining wives – Ariel Frenkel Gabi Elnicki AND kaity biggar — Heading to Thailand for Fantasy Suites Week. Earlier in the week, Zach said he didn’t want to have sex with any of the women on their date night. He felt it was more important to use this time to have the important conversations that he wasn’t having with the women on camera.

Ariel was the first woman to have her own partner. Zach surprised her by saying that he didn’t want to sleep with her because he felt that her intimacy was an important part of the relationship. Both Zach and Ariel admitted their physical connection was out of the question, and even though they spent the night together, Zach revealed that he was adamant when it came to the “no sex” rule. Gabi was next on her one-on-one date and was a little confused spending the afternoon with Zach.

During the daytime portion of the date, Gabi got emotional and opened up to Zach feeling like a “second choice” in their past relationship. She said having the second date of the week in the fantasy suite has started to bring those feelings back about her. Zach assured Gabi of his feelings for her and said he understood how difficult this process was. They agreed to spend the night together in the fantasy suite, and this time Zach couldn’t help himself when it came to the physical portion of the night. The next morning he admitted Jess Palmer that he had slept with Gabi.

Zach insisted he “doesn’t regret” the “nice time” he shared with Gabi, but said he wanted to be honest with everyone about it so he didn’t have any secrets. Before going on his date with Kaity, Zach visited Gabi to let her know that he would be open about their intimate night together. Admittedly, Gabi was “bewildered” by Zach’s decision to share this private moment with others. “I feel like my trust has been broken,” she said. “I felt like it was between us and now it’s between us and everyone else.”

However, Zach assured Gabi that the fact that he was “in [his] head” about the situation didn’t change how he felt about her. He even told her that he was “falling in love” with her, making her the first woman Zach has expressed this to. “I can see a future with you,” Zach told Gabi. You are fucking special and I’m falling in love with you. You are also someone who would be great to spend your life with.

Zach also wanted to be completely transparent with Kaity. During the daytime portion of the date, Zach told Kaity that he was being intimate with another of the women, even though he started the week with different target parameters. Obviously, she didn’t like hearing that information. I thought it was a comedy [of it] and I understand you wanted to tell me and I know you say it out of respect for me, but I could have walked away without hearing that,” Kaity admitted. “No need to apologize, I get that, it’s part of this journey. I knew going into this was something that was going to happen. It sucks to hear that confirmed, to be honest.”

After that, there was a feeling of awkwardness between Kaity and Zach, as she needed time to process the situation. “I feel very distant from you right now, to be honest,” Kaity shared. Zach assured Kaity that she “she could really see it was us at the end of this,” but she was still “not happy” with how their date was going. Kaity was in tears when they broke up and admitted to the producers that she wasn’t even sure he wanted to go into the date night part with the way she felt.

Ultimately, Kaity ended up meeting Zach for dinner, even though he was “not in a good mood.” Zach assured Kaity that he was being very honest with her because he didn’t want any secrets in a potential engagement. Kaity acknowledged that every relationship of hers will have its ups and downs, but she said she knew she and Zach could make it through. “It’s worth sitting here by your side,” she told her. “All smiles from here.” Kaity and Zach have also agreed to spend the night in the fantasy suite.

At the subsequent rose ceremony, Zach eliminated Ariel, leaving Gabi and Kaity as his last two wives. Kaity admitted that she still had a few steps to go with Zach before she was confident enough to have a ring on her finger. Gabi also said she thought she would be “much happier” as one of the two finalists. “I feel like I have a big A on my chest. It’s a very uncomfortable feeling and she only manages to make eye contact with Kaity when I feel like I’ve just hit a rough patch here. I have a few questions I need to answer before proceeding with a commitment. The trip ends on March 27th.
