Tom Cruise loved THE FLASH so much he called the director ‘to rave’ him

A Warners employee showed up at Cruise’s Beverly Hills home with the film and stayed until the actor finished watching it. When Cruise finished, the film was returned to the messenger, who returned it to the studio.

Sources go on to say: “Cruise was so impressed by what he saw that he contacted Muschietti shortly after. It was an out of the blue call for the director. Cruise is said to have been enthusiastic about the film, saying something to the effect that “Fast it’s everything you want in a movie’ and ‘this is the kind of movie we need now’”.

It must have been a great experience for Muschietti! Who knows, maybe one day Cruise will reach out to the director about directing one of his future film projects.
