Keanu Reeves wants to be the first human to talk to aliens if they really come

I don’t know whether you’ve heard this or not, but the director of the Pentagon’s Office of Anomaly Resolution on All Domains, Sean Kirkpatrick, recently said that there may be extraterrestrial motherships in our solar system sending probes to planets. The exact quote from him was:

“[A]An artificial interstellar object could potentially be a mothership that releases many small probes during its flyby of Earth, an operational construct not too dissimilar from NASA missions.

“Properly designed, these tiny probes would reach Earth or other planets in the solar system for exploration, as the mothership transitions to a fraction of the Earth-Sun separation, just as ‘Oumuamua’ did. Astronomers would not be able to notice the splashes from the mini-probes because they don’t reflect enough sunlight for existing telescopes to notice.

So if one day aliens really do come and set foot on the planet, Keanu Reeves that’s what he wants to be the first human to talk to them! During a Reddit AMA, Reeves was asked a lot of questions and one of them was asked if he would be willing to be the first communicator between the aliens and the human race, and this was his answer:

“Hell yeah, how’s it going? How was the trip? Are you hungry? Want something to drink?”

These seem like some pretty simple and safe conversation starter questions. NASA officials have previously revealed a potential plan if we come into contact with aliens. NASA official Lori Glaze told Business Insider:

“You can’t overstate how important that discovery would be. How we’re going to responsibly confirm and announce that, I think is a really, really important question. The bigger challenge is trying to keep that communication on a balanced footing, right? Enthusiastically, but also understanding that we have to set expectations that we have to follow the scientific process.”

So, now we’re just waiting to see what happens! I don’t know, if the aliens have landed, I just imagine it will all turn out like this Tim Burton’S Mars attacks. That’s how strange the world is right now.
