Steam Deck has quickly become a big player in the gaming world. It’s a portable PC that lets you play games from your Steam library (and other places with varying amounts of mods) on the go. I’ve heard great things about it in general and now you can save some money.
Valve is holding its Steam Spring Sale until March 23 at 10am PT and has decided to include the Steam Deck. That means the base 64GB eMMC model is now just $359.10 instead of $399. It’s just a little more than an OLED for the Nintendo Switch. The Steam Deck 256GB NVMe SSD temporarily costs just $476.10, and the 512GB NVMe SSD is down to $584.10.
However, the sale isn’t the only good news for Steam Deck. Valve also announced that it has added a built-in feature to the device that allows you to customize boot cinematics. I know users have been able to do this in the past using various mods and software, but knowing that it is now integrated is sure to excite many Steam Deck users. You can even find the ones created by Valve in the points shop.
