Fans are getting excited for this weekend’s Blockbuster movie Shazam! Fury of the Gods to be released. It is the sequel to DC’s 2019 blockbuster Shazam!, which followed the story of Billy Batson, “who after saying the magic word ‘SHAZAM!’ is struck by the Living Lightning of the gods and transformed into his adult superhero alter ego, Shazam. He has the powers of six gods: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the endurance of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury.

This sequel will continue the story of Billy Batson and his adopted brothers, who can all transform into superheroes, as they leap into action and battle the Daughters of Atlas to save the world from a weapon that could destroy it.
We’ve already heard a spoiler about a DC character appearing in the film, and there’s a good chance we’ll see at least one more in the film’s post-credits scenes, but the studio is doing its best to keep those scenes a surprise for fans. on the opening weekend.
After the debacle that was the spoiler post-credits scene several days before Marvel’s opened EternalsDC and Marvel alike are working more diligently to help fans enjoy the hidden surprises in their film endings and, in an effort to make that happen, the press pre-screenings that precede Shazam! Fury of the GodsThe theatrical release will not include post-credit scenes.
Director David F. Sandberg recently told Uproxx about the post-credits scenes:
“I mean, they exist. I think it’s more like wanting to save something for the fans on opening day and all that stuff so it doesn’t come out there. It’s mostly just funny little scenes. It’s not like, ‘Here’s the new Superman.’ I can’t anticipate too much, but you can see some fun characters to see.”
I think this is a decent move. It wouldn’t be a problem if people weren’t intent on posting spoilers before other people get a chance to see the movie.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods hits theaters this weekend, and it looks like it’s going to be an amazing time. So go to the cinema and remember not to screw it up!
