Featurette for Apple TV+ sci-fi series EXTRAPOLATIONS offers a closer look at its pivotal story

Apple TV+ has released a featurette for its upcoming sci-fi limited series Extrapolations. The video offers a closer look at the “crucial story” the series will tell. It certainly looks like it will take audiences on an epic journey.

Extrapolations is described as “an invigorating drama” and comes from the writer, director and executive producer Scott Z. Burns (The contagion, an inconvenient truth, the news). It introduces “a near future where the chaotic effects of climate change have become embedded in our daily lives”.

In the series, “Eight intertwining stories about love, work, faith and family from around the world will explore the intimate, life-changing choices that must be made when the planet is changing faster than population. Every story is different, but the fight for our future is universal. And when the fate of humanity collides with the ticking clock, the battle between courage and complacency has never been more urgent. Are we brave enough to become the solution to our downfall before it’s too late?”
