Al Pacino: Yesterday and Today

Al Pacino, born April 25, 1940, is a true American icon. He has won an Academy Award, two Tony Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards, making him one of the few actors to capture the Triple Crown of Acting.

Al’s passion for acting started at the prestigious HB Studio and the Actors Studio. There, the actor’s method learned from big names like Charlie Laidton AND Lee Strasberg. He has delivered some of the most memorable performances in the history of cinema and the role of him in Women’s perfume (1992) earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor. He has also received Academy Award nominations for The Godfather (1972), snake (1973), The Godfather Part II (1974, pictured here) and canine afternoon (1975).

His iconic film career is far beyond his recognition. movie like Scarface (1983), Heat (1995), e the Irish (2019) are part of the history of cinema. He’s also no stranger to television, having won Emmys for both. angels in america (2003) and you don’t know jack (2010). It keeps the screen small, starting its run on the Amazon Prime series hunters in 2020.

Al’s stage career is also no laughing matter! She has won Tony Awards for Does a tiger wear a tie? (1969) and Basic Training by Pavlo Hummel (1977).
