Paramount Pictures has some character posters for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and feature the characters Optimus Prime, Mirage and Optimus Primal. All of these characters will play a big part in the story, a story that I hope turns out to be really good. The last movie, Bumblebeeset a high bar for Transformers storytelling, and I don’t want this next Transformers movie to step back, which is likely.

In the film: “Returning to the action and spectacle that captivated moviegoers worldwide, Transformers: Rise of Animals will take audiences on a globe-trotting 1990s adventure and introduce the Maximals, Predacons and Terrorcons to battle existing on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.”

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is directed by Steven Caple Jr. (Creed II), who previously spoke about the film, saying, “The main hero is Optimus, as we all know and love. We are bringing back Prime, paying direct homage to the first generation. I care so much about this character that I really wanted to immerse myself in Transformers, and I saw a Bumblebee and thought, okay, Bumblebee had his own movie, but I want to find out more about Optimus Prime, delve beneath the surface, go under metal if you will, and how to explore who he is and his experience here on earth, you know?”

He continued, saying, “I know everyone’s been asking like crazy, are we going G1, are we going G1? The answer is yes, we’re going G1, Prime. It’s 1994, and in a sense, both the animated series that the Bay films treat Optimus equally in the sense of who is he as a leader, what is his impetus? he becomes, what is familiar to you. And that’s big news.”

The director went on to talk about Prime’s emotional connection to planet Earth, saying, “When you say he’s gotten to where he is, you mean ‘we have to protect these Earthlings and this biological planet.’ The way we see it is that it’s new.” on earth and has no connection to earth the way we met him in the Bay movies and the way we met him in the animated series where he is already a protector of the Earth.in this movie, he is forming, because he has a connection to humanity? And why does he have a connection to the earth? And that’s exciting… In the beginning of Bumblebee, we showed, escaped from Cybertron, his home planet. And so in a way, he’s literally like an expat here, right? He has landed. He’s… he’s an alien and he’s never been here before. And so he allows us to say under the stoicism of what is traditionally presented in an Optimus.”

The film is the protagonist Antonio RamosDominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Valez, Peter Cullen such as Optimus Prime, e Ron Perlmann as Optimus Primal.

The film arrives in theaters on June 9, 2023. Enjoy the new trailer!
