After a year of controversy in which The Academy has been involved, after the slap given by Will Smith to one of its presenters, comedian and actor Chris Rock, the event is reinstated for its 95th gala, in which we are about to meet the winner in the most awaited category of the evening, that of best film. Delivery took place at Ovation Hollywood’s Dolby Theater in the middle of Na’vi, where ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ won the statuette for best costume design.

The Marvel Studios production won the first Oscar of the evening thanks to “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in Los Angeles, California. The presentation began with an introduction by Jimmy Kimmel who presided over the ceremony, to present a total of 23 statuettes in their different categories.

In the same category, “Babylon” by María Zofres, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” by Ruth Carter, “Elvis” by Catalina Martin, “Everything everywhere at the same time” by Shirley Kurata and “Mrs. Harris goes to Paris” ‘ by Jenny Beavan.

The name of the late actor Chadwick Boseman was named on stage, after ‘Black Panther 2’ will win Best Costume Design at the 95th Academy Awardswho was an important member before and after his death and who marked a very important milestone for this franchise.

Disney received the award from Ruth Carter, who was in charge of making the costumes for the Marvel Studios film, thus establishing herself as the first African-American woman to win two Oscars.
